I explore the world through travel, capture moments with photography, reflect on business, brands and culture through research, and collect inspirations and insights in my daily essays. Here are recorded my experiences, observations and expressions.

Cultural Observer

I have always been curious about different cultures. From religion, history, geography and art to brands, fashion and contemporary youth culture, I enjoy observing the lifestyles of different societies and the cultural logic behind them.

Traveling, reading and daily experiences constantly expose me to new perspectives and also make me realize that there are often interesting connections between seemingly different cultural phenomena.

Rather than simply accepting existing explanations, I prefer to observe, compare and think from different perspectives, attempting to understand how culture influences people's concepts, behaviors and lives.

Indie Photographer

I'm always on the road and used to recording everything I encounter along the way with my camera.

From the initial mobile phone photography, to the first Fuji camera given to me by a friend, and now to SONY as my main equipment. Photography has gradually become a part of my life. However, my favorite in daily life is a Ricoh. It is compact and lightweight and can capture the scenes in front of me at any time. I also often use Instant cameras and occasionally try Film cameras to enjoy the unique experiences and uncertainties brought by different devices.

I shoot architecture and natural scenery, and occasionally record food and the details of life. But what truly fascinates me are those fleeting and decisive moments. The accidental intersection of light, environment, characters, and movement often creates images that cannot be preset or replicated.

For me, photography is not only about recording but also a way to observe the world. I enjoy the uncertainty brought about by the interweaving of various factors, and I also relish discovering moments worth capturing by chance.
